The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is the US government agency tasked with preserving and maintaining documents that record important events in American history, and making them available for research. NARA maintains several facilities in the Washington, DC area, over a dozen regional facilities, and fourteen Presidential libraries. They also provide access to some records through the NARA website. This presentation will describe the holdings and research facilities of the National Archives central and regional locations, with a focus on the National Archives at Denver. A description of information available on the NARA website and a demonstration of the website search capabilities will be included.
